	• Effective treatments exist (psychiatric hook) • Every patient who uses tobacco should be offered treatment • Strong dose-response relationship, effectiveness increases with intensity of treatment • Treatment is insured & clinicians are reimbursed (far from 100%) • Pharmacotherapy (physical hook) • Clinically effective and cost effective
