The Kaiser Wilhelm Gedächtniskirche in Berlin, February 1959, left in its bombed-out condition as a memorial to the war. Since this photo was taken, a belfry was added at the top and the ground floor has been made into a memorial hall; otherwise it is still a hollow ruin.
