The main part Chesterbrook School building with Quonset hut. This was the whole thing when I started school in 1950, but a few years later a long new wing was added to accommodate the postwar population boom. Contrary to what I always thought, this is not the original Chesterbrook School building; the original one was wooden, one room, built in 1906 on present-day Linway Terrace.
