When she moved to Minnesota at age 23, she worked as a servant, married twice, had three children (two of whom died infancy, and she outlived the third one by 20 years). She moved back to Wisconsin in 1905, then to Spokane WA in 1920, and died in 1947 at age 90 in Coeur D'Alene, Idaho.
