My mother's sisters Ella and Doris with some children. Ella Gladys Lund
(left) was born in Otter Tail County, Minnesota, in the town of Maine or
Underwood, in 1913. She never married, and died in Anaheim CA in 2009 at
age 96. Doris Viola Lund (right) was born in Minneota in January 1924. She
was married twice; first with Earl Norman Jasperson about 1950, who had
served in the Army in WWII (PFC); then with Clyde L Burgess in 1960, who
also had served in the Army in WWII (TSGT). With Earl she had two sons and
three daughters including Judy Ann, who was born in 1952 and died April 10,
1960, the same day Shirley's daughter, Cheryl, when the two children went
out to play and fell into the river. With Burgess, she had two children, Diana
and Len. She died in 1990. Like her sister Shirley she stayed in
Minnesota. I think the real reason she and Shirley, unlike all the rest of
Hannah and Carl's children, stayed in Minnesota was to be where their
daughters were buried. Zeke's daughter Sandy
says "I think those are Doris' kids. (Maybe Mike, Jean and Judy). Later,
with Clyde Burgess Doris had twin boys, Lenny and Larry. With Earl she had
two sons Michael Barry and Earl David, and 3 daughters, Jean Louise, Joanne
and Judy Ann. As far as I know Doris never came to California."
