Former Air raid bunker at the Gallus Hauptgüterbahnhof, razed in 1998. An unknown number (but more than two) of these bullet-shaped shelters (Winkeltürme) existed in Frankfurt, including at least two in railroad marshalling yards, i.e. the tangle of tracks behind any given Bahnhof, which were favorite targets of USAAF bombing: this one and another behind the Hauptbahnof.
