| | Nutrition Components of Physical
Diagnosis In your physical diagnosis, you will have a chance to observe patients,
many of whom may have nutrition-associated symptoms or signs. Examples
of this are central obesity, fat redistribution, skin manifestations,
and glossitis. Ask your preceptor what to look for, what to ask the patient
and what kind of examinations that are helpful in identifying nutritional
deficiencies, either caused by a disease or causing a disease.    |
