Vicki LeBlanc, Ph.D., is Project leader for faculty Education
Research and Measurement at the Center for Education Research and Evaluation.
She obtained her B.Ps. in Psychology from the Universite de Moncton, and
her M.Sc. and Ph.D. in cognitive psychology from McMaster University,
specializing in medical reasoning and knowledge organization. Her professional
work consists of investigating the methods by which individuals learn,
memorize, organize knowledge and reasoning in the health professions with
the goal of applying the findings of such research to the design of innovative
and effective teaching methodologies. Dr. LeBlanc is an affiliated faculty
member of the department of Medical Informatics at Columbia University.
