n Roots short and pulps almost obliterated
n Periapical radiolucencies
n More common type
n Enamel and coronal dentin are normal
n Wide variation in root formation because dentinal
disorganization may occur at different stages of
tooth development
n Color is normal in both dentitions
n Radiographically, deciduous teeth more severly
affected
