Dan Robbins and Jim Lemke in what was then the second-floor electronics laboratory, directly above the old machine room shown here. The building outside the windows in the older photo, which was in those days one of the two Parnassus Club buildings, and later the Bureau of Applied Social Research, was torn down (in 1977, I think) to make way for a parking lot, and in 1987-1988 the Schapiro residence hall was erected on the site; we see the back of it in this photo.
