At least two police officers were seriously injured. One of them was Frank Gucciardi, when (according to the Daily News) a student jumped out of a Mathematics Hall window and landed on him; according to other accounts, students were being thrown from the windows by police. This and the following two clippings were sent in by Gucciardi's son Thomas.
