I found this photo somewhere that said it showed the non-Black students moving from Hamilton to Low. This happened at about 6:00am April 24th, and the crowd is much bigger than I remember, but on the other hand I recognize some people who were in Low Library all week, so what else could it be? Furthermore, I don't see any police, but if the photo was taken after the bust, there would be police all over the place. Btw, in the center, to the right of Butler Library and in front of Carmen Hall, is the long-gone Ferris Booth Hall, the student center, home of Spectator, WKCR, etc, and where the Grateful Dead performed a couple weeks later.
