 | Prof Carol Prives elected to National Academy of Sciences |
Dr. Carol Prives, DaCosta Professor of Biology, Department of Biological Sciences at Columbia University has been elected member of the prestigious National Academy of
Sciences for her excellence in original scientific research.
Membership in the academy is one of the highest honors given to a
scientist or engineer in the United States. Professor Prives will be inducted into
the academy in April 2009 during its 146th annual meeting in
Washington, D.C.
