Groups of fewer than ten people are free to tour the Morningside campus on their own. Maps and other materials for self-guided tours are available online and in the Visitors Center, located in room 213 of Low Memorial Library. The Visitors Center is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. No registration is required to pick up a self-guided tour; however, a current Columbia I.D. is required to enter all buildings except Low Library. You are welcome to explore any of the outdoor green space on campus. A virtual tour and podcast are available online.

Campus Access Tours

Visitors with disabilities may request an accessible tour of the Morningside Campus from the Visitor’s Center, 213 Low Library. Tours are arranged to meet the individual needs of visitors; three weeks advance notice is needed. To arrange a tour, visitors should email visitorscenter@columbia.edu. Visitors with mobility impairments who arrive on the Morningside campus without prior notice may be able to arrange a tour of Upper Campus through the Visitors Center, subject to tour guide availability. The Visitors Center does not provide wheelchairs, golf carts or other modes of transportation.
